31 33 001 Replacing front left or right spring strut support bearing

Installation note:
- All screws, nuts, bolts and hose clamps removed during the repair must be replaced.
- Retaining elements on chassis and suspension and steering parts must be replaced.
IMPORTANT:
Only F2x, F3x up to model year 05/2013:
Before fitting a new support bearing, the current version of the support bearing must be checked.
In the case of a support bearing with M8 screw connection (support beating on body), the support bearings must be replaced in pairs by support bearings with M10 screw connection.
The changeover of the screw connection from M8 to M10 results in a different level of stiffness. Therefore, mixed installation (M8/M10) is not permitted!
If the support bearings have already been replaced once by support bearings with M10 screw connection, the installation of an individual support bearing is permissible once more.
Before fitting a new support bearing, the current version of the support bearing must be checked.
