61 12... Removing and installing battery cover

Special tools required: 

Fold up luggage compartment floor trim panel (1) by the handle (2).

Remove luggage compartment floor trim panel (1) from the guides (2) in direction of arrows.

Raise luggage compartment floor trim panel (1) at handle (2) and remove in direction of arrow.

Lift out expanding rivets (1) and cover (2) for adaptive mounting system using special tool 64 1 020 .

Remove luggage compartment trim panel in direction of arrow.

If necessary, take control unit/voltage transformer out of storage compartment and lay to the side.

Release expanding rivet (1).

Unscrew nuts (2).

Remove storage compartment (3) in direction of arrow.
