11 65 310 Removing and installing/replacing blow-off valve (N20)

WARNING: The module consists of exhaust turbo charger and exhaust manifold.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove front right wheel (all-wheel drive vehicle only)
Remove clean air pipe.
Drain coolant.
Remove expansion tank.
Remove pedestrian protection at bottom (without USA).
Remove charge air cooler.
Remove the catalytic converter.
Drain ENGINE OIL .
Remove EXHAUST TURBOCHARGER .

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque: 11 65 6AZ

Remove blow-off valve (2).

Installation note:

Clean the threads and sealing surfaces (2).

Assemble engine.

Observe BMW Diagnostics System instruction.

Carry out BMW leak test for intake system.
