Procedure steps

Remove intake silencer housing
Unlock connector 1 on hot film air mass meter and pull off.

Unfasten clamp 2.

Unclip Bowden cable 3 from intake silencer housing.

Pull off intake silencer housing 4 upward out of rubber mounts 5 and remove.

Remove right charge-air line

Unfasten clamp 1.

Pull off pressure hose 2 in direction of arrow.

Install right charge air duct

Loosen the lock 1.

Pull off pressure hose 2 in direction of arrow.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Make sure that the connections are locked correctly. The locks must engage audibly.

Mount charge air line 2 in direction of arrow onto the charge air cooler.

Lock 1 must engage audibly.

Mount charge air line 2 in direction of arrow.

Tighten clamp 1.

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATIONS

Charge air guide to charge air cooler and throttle body
Clamp
3 Nm

Install intake silencer housing

Press intake silencer housing 4 downward into the rubber mounts 5.

Clip in Bowden cable 3 on the intake silencer housing.

Tighten clamp 2.

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATIONS

Clean air pipe to intake silencer housing
Clamp
3 Nm

Connect connector 1 at the hot film air mass meter.
