41 62 515 Removing/Installing/Replacing Left Hinge For Tailgate (Tailgate Removed)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Release rear HEADLINING in rear area

Unscrew nuts (1).

Tightening torque 41 62 2AZ .

Release screw (1) and remove hinge.

Tightening torque 41 62 7AZ .

Installation note:

Before final assembly, apply sealing compound in areas (1).

ADJUST hinge together with tailgate.

Replacement:

Release screws (1) and remove ground straps.

Pull off stop pad (2).
