41 34 041 Stripping Operations - Replacing Tail Panel

- Disconnect battery (job number: 61 20 900)
- Remove bumper trim (FR number: 51 12 156)
- Remove bumper carrier (FR number: 51 12 050)
- Remove center guide (FR number: 51 12 825)
- Remove guide for bumper on left and right (FR number: 51 12 828)
- Remove luggage compartment floor trim panel (FR number: 51 47 101)
- Remove luggage compartment storage compartment (FR number: 51 47)
- Remove tail panel trim at top (FR number: 51 46 050)
- Remove left luggage compartment wheel arch panel (job number: 51 47 151)
- Remove right luggage compartment wheel arch panel (FR number: 51 47 161)
- Remove striker for rear lid (FR number: 51 24 130)
- Remove rear lights (FR number: 63 21 180)
- Partially detach tailgate seal
NOTE:

Lift out clip (1) and remove water channel cover (2).
NOTE:

Lever out expanding rivets (1) and fold sound insulation (2) to one side.
Release nuts and remove ground support point (3).
Tightening torque 41 34 2AZ .
Release cable channel covers (1) and lay towards front.
Release wiring harnesses (1) from rear trim panel and lay towards front.

Release nuts (1) and remove cover (2).
