52 14 010 Removing and installing/replacing both seat rails on left or right front seat: Notes

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove DRIVER'S SEAT or PASSENGER SEAT .
Remove lower strap (belt tensioner). See BELT TENSIONER, FRONT PASSENGER SEAT or BELT TENSIONER, DRIVER'S SEAT .
Remove TRIMS FOR TOP RAIL

Unlock and disconnect plug connection (1) on drive for longitudinal seat adjustment.

Release left and right screws (1).

Tightening torque 52 10 06AZ .

Release nuts (2) on left and right on carrier plate.

Remove seat rails with motor carrier plate.
