Attach front spoiler

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2011 BMW 750xi, 2011 BMW 750Lxi, 2010 BMW 750xi, and 2010 BMW 750Lxi. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: The operation is shown on the left side; proceed in the same way for the right side.

Pull off liner (1) only partly and secure with adhesive tape (2) to outside of front spoiler.

Pull off complete liner (3).

Place front spoiler (4) on bumper and align.

Pull off the liner (1) gradually and simultaneously press against the bumper panel. Make sure the front spoiler (4) is correct fitted.

Secure the front spoiler (1) in the area of the wheel arch with clamp (3) and paint protection (2) on left and right.

Fix front spoiler (1) in place in the intake area using suitable rigid foam blocks (4) approx. 105 mm high and adhesive tape (5).

NOTE: Always work with suitable paint protection.

Remove emerging adhesive immediately.

Secure bumper panel using plastic rivets (1) and screws (2).

IMPORTANT: Allow adhesive to set for 24 hours at a temperature of min. 15 °C.
24 hours, 100 km/h maximum speed.
Mechanical strain permitted after 2 days at the earliest (e.g. car wash).
