16 19 075 Filling SCR reservoir

Special tools required:

2 355 172

IMPORTANT: Ensure adequate ventilation in the workbay!
Avoid skin contact (wear gloves)!
Avoid eye contact (safety goggles)!
Urea/water mixture can escape when components carrying urea/water mixture are released. Have a collecting vessel ready.
Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.

IMPORTANT: Maintain conditions of absolute cleanliness.
Connections and covers of lines carrying urea/water mixture must be cleaned thoroughly with water after each removal or before each installation!
Thoroughly clean the working area with water after repair work.
Use fluff-free cloths for cleaning.
Close connections and lines!
Thoroughly clean special tool with water after each use.

Screw filler hose 2 302 783 with the flatter connection onto the urea/water solution container.

Then connect the other end of filler hose 2 302 783 to the filler neck of the SCR reservoir.

Hook urea/water solution container onto stand 2 355 172 and fill SCR reservoir.

If the SCR reservoir is full before the urea/water solution container (1) is empty, set down the container (1) and unscrew the filler hose.

IMPORTANT: When unscrewing filling hose, check for escaping urea/water mixture!
Immediately wash off all urea/water mixture with water!
