32 41 250 Removing And Installing/Replacing Fluid Reservoir For Hydraulic Steering (S63)

WARNING: DANGER OF POISONING if oil is ingested/absorbed through the skin!
RISK OF INJURY if oil comes into contact with eyes and skin!
IMPORTANT: Adhere to the utmost cleanliness. Do not allow any dirt to enter the hydraulic system.
Seal off hydraulic lines with seal plugs.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Release nuts (1) on expansion tank.

NOTE: Raise and/or turn oil reservoir in order to gain better access to hoses.

Release hose clamp (1) from radiator return line.

Release hose clamp (2) from intake pipe.

Release screw (3) from oil reservoir clamp.

Installation note: 

Renew hose clamps.

Disconnect intake pipe and radiator return line from fluid reservoir.

Lift out oil reservoir.

Installation note: 

Align mark (1) on return line to arrow (1) on expansion tank.

Check that there is no tension in hydraulic lines and there is sufficient distance from adjoining components!
