BMW Teleservice Battery Guard

If the state of charge of the battery is decreasing critically, and certain additional marginal conditions are satisfied, a BMW TeleServices Battery Guard Call is automatically activated. This is sent via a SMS text message or e-mail to the customer or the responsible dealer.

Prerequisites for use:

• Vehicles from 03/2011
• Valid BMW ConnectedDrive contract

The function is currently available in the following vehicles:

• F25 Vehicles from 03/2011
• F2x vehicles from 09/2011
• F3x vehicles from 02/2012
