51 41... Punching in the contour for the seat memory switch

Special tools required:

Necessary preliminary tasks

Use special tool 51 4 109 to punch in holes in marked locations on door panel (1).

IMPORTANT: Special tools 51 4 114 and 51 4 115 must be used as cutting implements for punching work on the F07

IMPORTANT: If cutting tool (2) is changed, proceed with the punching tool (1) closed and while using special tool 51 4 112 (risk of damage).

51 4 101 Slide special tool through holes stamped into door trim panel (1).

NOTE: Guide pins of punching tool are coded.
Distortion is thus not possible.

51 4 105 Mount special tools and on punching tool 51 4 106 (1).

Compress punching tool (1) via spindle.

51 4 111 Press punching remnants with special tool from rear out of punching tool.

NOTE: This work step is necessary to prevent the cutting surfaces from being damaged during a renewed punching operation.
