61 35 980 Removing and installing/renewing aerial for comfort access system on left or right

Necessary preliminary tasks 

• Remove trim panel for cover on side member. See 51 71 447 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING TRIM PANEL FOR COVER ON LEFT OR RIGHT SIDE MEMBER .

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Unlock and remove aerial for comfort access system (2) from bracket (3).

Installation note: 

Make sure interior aerial for comfort access system (2) is correctly seated in designated holder (3).
