The test module < Test of sound output and audio amplifier > starts with the display of the trouble code description.
After display of trouble code description, the fault code memory is read for the currently installed control units. The procedure is continued with the handling of the currently stored fault code entries.
After processing of the fault code entries, a selection structure is displayed that offers the following options (depending on the control unit or vehicle equipment):
- Speaker test
For the test, the loudspeakers installed in the vehicle can be activated and checked. A test sound is output on the selected loudspeaker. After the test, supported troubleshooting is available.
After all relevant test steps have been executed, the procedure can be ended or ended with a feedback signal. In the feedback, select the relevant cause of fault. The relevant diagnosis code is displayed.
The test module < Test of sound output and audio amplifier > is extended continuously and the contents of the DTC procedures and the fault symptoms are updated regularly.
