61 31 898 Replace the relay for the air supply system

Necessary preliminary tasks
- Remove spare wheel well trim panel. See 51 47... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR SPARE WHEEL WELL TRIM PANEL .
- Disconnect BATTERY EARTH LEAD .
Shown with removed battery!
Pull off and renew the relay (position 1) for the air supply system.
Installation note:
It is absolutely necessary to secure a new relay with 2 cable straps on the wiring harness (position 2) to prevent malfunctions due to water ingress.
After installation
- Delete fault memory
