51 16 355 Removing and installing/replacing driver's side hinged compartment

When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 45 6AZ .

Remove fold-down compartment on driver's side (2) in direction of arrow while unclipping or detaching at the bottom

Installation:

Make sure driver's side hinged compartment (2) is correctly seated.

In F01/02/03 only:

Replacement

In F01/02/03 only:

Modify clamps (1).

Release screws (1) and fit handle on fold-down compartment.

Tightening torque 51 45 7AZ .
