13 53 330 Replacing leakage oil lines (N57 D30 O 1)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

IMPORTANT: It is essential to adhere to conditions of absolute cleanliness when carrying out repair work on the fuel system.
IMPORTANT: You must protect the alternator against dirt contamination before carrying out any repair work on the fuel circuit.
Cover alternator with suitable materials.
Failure to comply with this procedure may result in an alternator malfunction.

Pull out retainer (1) upwards.

Detach connection of leakage oil line (2) upwards.

Installation note: 

The entire leakage oil line must be replaced if seal (1) is damaged.

Detach leakage oil lines from the injectors. Release leakage oil line from rubber grommet (1).

Detach, thread out and remove leakage oil line from T-piece (2) of fuel line (near high pressure pump).

Reassemble the vehicle.

Check fuel system for tightness.
