Fault description

Diagnosis monitors the line for positive supply to the direct ignition coils from the load-shedding relay for ignition and fuel injection for open circuits/line disconnection and short circuits to ground.

Malfunction monitoring conditions

This fault code is detected whenever there is voltage at the DME input (E_U_IGN) although the load-shedding relay for ignition and fuel injection has disengaged.
