51 12 157 Replacing rear bumper trim
NOTE:
Pictures created using the X6 3.0i as an example. There may be differences in detail in the case of other models.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove REAR BUMPER TRIM .
- Remove REAR REFLECTOR WITH REAR FOG LIGHT .
Version with Park Distance Control (PDC):
Remove ultrasonic transducer (1) . See 66 20 536 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR MIDDLE LEFT ULTRASONIC SENSOR or 66 20 537 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR MIDDLE RIGHT ULTRASONIC SENSOR .
Unclip wiring harness (2).
Installation:
Check wiring harness for damage, replace if necessary.
Make sure wiring harness is correctly seated.
Remove PANEL FROM BUMPER SIDE SECTION (1) .
Remove LOWER BUMPER TRIM SECTION (2) .
