11 65 180 Removing and installing/replacing heat shield at top (N63)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Release screws (1).

Lift out holder.

Release screw (2).

Tightening torque 11 65 3AZ, see SUPERCHARGER

Release screw (2).

Tightening torque 11 65 3AZ, see SUPERCHARGER

Release retaining clip (1).

Detach wire ring (2) and set down behind oxygen sensor.

Release retaining clip (1).

Detach wire ring (2) and set down behind oxygen sensor.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 11 65 3AZ, see SUPERCHARGER

NOTE: For purposes of clarity, the graphic shows the oxygen sensor removed.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 11 65 3AZ, see SUPERCHARGER

Lift out heat shield.

Assemble engine.
