51 46 050 Removing and installing/replacing top trim on tail panel
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove storage compartment in luggage compartment, see 51 47... Removing and installing/replacing storage compartment in luggage compartment on left or right .
- Remove trim on D-pillar at bottom, see 51 47 105 Removing and installing/replacing trim on D-pillar at bottom left or right .
- Remove battery cover, see 51 47... Removing and installing/replacing battery cover .
NOTE:
The operation is described on the left side; proceed in the same way for the right side.
Release screw (1).
Remove trim (2) upwards.
Installation:
Catches (1) and guide (2) must not be damaged.
Make sure catches (1) and guide (2) are correctly seated.
Installation:
Feed in mucket (1).
To avoid damaging the rear lid and cover, carefully close the rear lid and check correct seating.
