51 32 390 Remove and install/replace frame trim on front left or right side window frame

Special Tools Required 

• 00 9 323

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Open front side window.
• Remove seal for door seam/roof frame .
• Remove rear-view mirror  on front door.

Note:  

Using special tool 00 9 323 , begin removing frame trim (1) at front (A) and detach at rear (B).

Pull off frame trim (1) in direction of arrow from clamps (2).

Installation note:  

If necessary, replace faulty clamps (1 and 2) on frame trim (3).

Make sure clamps are installed in correct positions.
