12 42 510 Replacing battery positive lead (between starter and jump-start connection point) (M57T2)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

NOTE: For a better overview, this work step is shown from below. All the tasks can be performed from above.

Slacken nut (1).

Installation:

Tightening torque: 12 52 6AZ .

Disconnect battery positive lead (2) from starter motor.

Unclip battery positive lead (1) from holder (2).

Fold cover (4) downwards.

Unscrew nut (3).

Installation:

Tightening torque: 12 52 7AZ .

Detach battery positive lead (1) from jump start connection point and remove
