Keyprocesses 

1. Remove fuel tank underride protection 
   NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
   • Loosen clip (1).
   • Loosen screws/nuts (2) and (3).
   • Thread out underride guard (4) and remove downwards.

2. Install fuel tank underride protection 
   NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
   NOTE: Renew damaged expanding rivet.
   • Feed in underride protection (4).
   • Install clips (1).
   • Tighten nuts/bolts (2) and (3).
   TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
   
   

   Underbody panelling on body
   Screw	3 Nm
   Nut	2.5 Nm
