13 71 000 Removing/replacing intake silencer housing (N47 D20 O1)

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Switch off ignition.
• Remove acoustic cover. See 13..... REMOVE ACOUSTIC COVER (N47 D20 O/T1) .
• Remove intake port. See 13..... REMOVING INTAKE PORT (N47 D20 O1) .

Unlock clean air pipe (1) and detach.

Pull off intake filter housing together with air filter element (2) upwards out of rubber retainer.

Remove intake filter housing in direction of travel.

Installation note: 

Assemble engine.
