13 71 000 Removing and installing/replacing intake silencer housing (N52T)

Necessary preliminary work:

Release clamp (1).

Tightening torque: 13 71 2AZ .

Release connector (2) on hot film air mass meter and disconnect.

Pull intake silencer housing upward out of rubber mounts and remove.

Installation note:

Make sure intake silencer housing is correctly seated on stop buffer at bottom.

Ensure that the intake silencer housing is installed correctly relative to the intake port.

Only if intake silencer housing is being replaced, modify HOT FILM AIR MASS METER and AIR FILTER ELEMENT .

Delete fault memory.
