52 26 008 Removing and installing/replacing side section of rear seat backrest (through-loading facility) on left or right

Tilt rear seat backrest forwards.

Detach cover (1) upwards.

Remove seat belt strap (2) from capping (1).

Installation note:

Latch mechanisms (1) of cover (2) must not be damaged.

Pop out cover (1) for seat backrest bracket.

Installation note:

Insert cover (1) at bottom and pop in at top left and right in succession.

Unlock latch (1) with a screwdriver through side wall.

Pull backrest side section (2) forwards and lift out.

Installation note:

First thread in guides on the backrest side section (1) in the supports on the body.
Then press down side section of backrest (1) so that the guides fit properly in the supports.
Clip backrest side section at top into place.
