51 41... Replacing mid-range speaker cover on left or right door trim panel

Special tools required: 

• 00 9 317

When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Remove door trim panel  . See 51 41 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL  or 51 42 000 REMOVE AND INSTALL LEFT OR RIGHT REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL 

Use suitable tool to release plastic joints (2) on mid-range speaker cover (1).

Remove mid-range speaker cover (1).

Installation note: 

Secure replacement mid-range speaker cover (1) by means of retaining clips (3) over retaining tabs (2).
