17 11 035 Removing and installing/replacing fan cowl with electric fan (N20)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Switch off ignition.
Undo the intake port from the intake silencer housing and remove intake port towards the top.
Remove front UNDERBODY PROTECTION .

Release screw.

Tightening torque 17 10 6AZ .

Detach transmission oil cooler (1) for automatic transmission from fan cowl (2).

Unlock connector (1) and remove.

Unclip line (2) from fan cowl.

Unclip hydraulic oil line from fan cowl.

If fitted:

Cut open cable strap (3).

Release screw.

Tightening torque 17 10 1AZ.

Unlock catch in direction of arrow.

Remove fan cowl towards top.

Installation note:

Make sure fan cowl (1) and holder (2) are in correct installation position.

NOTE: Check stored fault messages.
Delete fault memory.
