51 43 251 Removing and installing/replacing trim panel for left or right rear roof pillar (C-pillar)

When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.

Remove edge guard on rear lid and door in area of trim panel (2).

Unclip trim panel (2).

Pull trim panel upward out of retaining fixture (3).

Lift out trim (2) towards inside.

Installation:

Fit trim panel correctly in retaining fixture (3).

Retaining fixture (3) and retaining clips (2) must not be damaged.

Replacement

Replace retaining clips (2) of trim panel (1).
