51 16 341 Remove and install/replace lock barrel for glove box

Special tools required:

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!
When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.

Insert ignition key (1) into lock barrel.

If possible, unlock (2) the lock.

Open lock (2) and insert special tool 00 9 327 .

Insert screwdriver in area (A) and pry lock barrel outwards.

Installation note:

The catch bar(1) and retainers (2) may not be damaged.

If necessary, assemble new LOCK BARREL .
