IMPORTANT:

When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.

Remove clamps (highlighted area) from steering column shroud (1).
Remove steering column shroud (1).
Installation:
Clamps and retaining tabs must not be damaged.
Cleanly press in steering column shroud (1).
