51 41 000 Removing and installing left or right front door trim panel

Special tools required:

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Unclip and remove cover (1) at handle (2) with special tool 00 9 325 as shown.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 41 1AZ .

Unclip clips (3) of door trim panel (2) starting from bottom with special tool 00 9 325 .

Carefully unclip door trim panel (1) at top from clamps (2).

Unhook Bowden cable (1) from door lock (2).

Disconnect all plug connections and remove door trim panel.

Installation note:

Replace faulty clips.

Ensure correct installation location:

Install clips (2) and (3) with sealing ring.

After assembling the door trim panel proceed as follows:
