51 11 156 Removing and installing front bumper trim

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Version with headlight cleaning system: 

Release screws (2) on front wheel arch cover (1).

Turn wheel arch cover inwards.

Release screw (1).

Unclip bumper (2) on bracket and pull away.

Installation note: 

Install bumper (2) level with side section.

Release screws (1).

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 11 1AZ .

NOTE: The following tasks must be carried out with a second person assisting:

Pull bumper panel (1) forwards a little.

If necessary, disconnect plug connections on ultrasonic sensors (2) and/or on fog lights (3).

Remove bumper panel (1) towards front with aid of a 2nd person.
