51 45... Removing and installing/replacing right instrument panel trim (end cover)

Special tools required:

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!
When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.

Detach mucket (1) in area of right instrument panel trim (3) in direction of arrow.

Lever out right instrument panel trim (3) 00 9 325 with special tool at mounting points (2) and remove.

Disconnect plug connection (1) from passenger airbag switch (2).

Put down right instrument panel trim (3).

Installation:

Retaining lugs on right instrument panel trim (1) must not be damaged

Replacement

Squeeze clamps (2) together (arrow) and modify switch of front passenger air bag(1).
