51 11 156 Removing and installing (replacing) front bumper panel

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Release all screws at top and bottom on bumper panel (1).

NOTE: The wheel was removed for clarity.
Change steering angle to suit current the current job item.

Release bolt (1) on wheel arch panel. Tilt wheel arch panel sideways.

Release left and right bolts (2) located behind trim.

Tightening torque 51 11 11AZ .

IMPORTANT: Bumper panel must not be pulled out sideways (risk of damage).

Remove bumper panel straight towards front with aid of a 2nd person.

If necessary, disconnect additional plug-in contacts and feed out cable.

Installation note: 

Observe 41 00... BODY GAP DIMENSIONS .

On version with "Night Vision with Dynamic Light" the headlights must be ADJUSTED for target illumination.
