Monitoring criteria

at the lower mechanical travel stop position (throttle valve completely closed) the voltage data for both throttle valve sensors are outside the valid range (Sensor 1: 0.5 V +/- 0.3 V; Sensor 2: 4.5 V +/- 0.3 V) Potential problem source(s):

-Throttle valve operation impaired by contamination

-Defect in wiring harness between throttle-valve actuator motor and DME
