51 23 110 Removing and installing/replacing engine compartment lid lock on left (up to 08/2008)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Slacken screws (1) on connection (2).

Tightening torque 51 61 4AZ .

NOTE: Component does not have to be removed.

Release screws (2) on engine compartment lid lock (1).

Tightening torque 51 23 2AZ .

Disconnect Bowden cable (1).

Remove engine compartment lid lock (2) towards top.
