51 16... Removing And Installing Or Replacing Retaining Ring On Left Or Right Door Mirror

Necessary preliminary tasks 

• Remove COVER CAP FROM DOOR MIRROR 
• Remove TRIM FROM DOOR MIRROR 
• Remove DRIVE for electrically adjustable door mirror

Release screws (1) on retaining ring (2).

Unclip catch (1) and remove retaining ring (2).

Installation: 

Catch (1) and guide (2) must not be damaged.

Locators (3) for multitooth catches must not be damaged.
