54 62 000 Triggering/retracting rollover protection system (BMW diagnosis system)
WARNING:

When the actuators are electrically activated, there must be no persons present in the vicinity of the rollover protection system.

IMPORTANT:
Stow roof module in soft top compartment (open).
When the actuators are activated, both rollover bars are simultaneously triggered.
When the actuators are activated, both rollover bars are simultaneously triggered.
Triggering rollover protection system:
Refer to diagnostic program "Restraint and rollover protection function/rollover system".
IMPORTANT:
When retracting, make sure rollover bar snaps into place on lower limit position.
Slowly relieve load on rollover bar.
Slowly relieve load on rollover bar.
Hold back locking pawl (1) and press down rollover bar (2) up to limit position until actuator locks.
NOTE:
Rollover bar must snap audibly into place!
