41 34 038 Replacing Tail Panel Outer Section Stripping Down Operations

NOTE: Owing to the different engine variants and equipment specifications, not all the components are taken into consideration.
The following list basically represents the removal sequence.

Remove bumper trim
Remove bumper carrier
Remove center guide
Upper tail panel trim
Partially detach rear lid seal

NOTE: Operation is described on the left side. Right side identical.

Remove trim (1).

Installation note:

Fit cover (1) before fitting the bumper trim.
