Fuel Pressure Sensor

The pressure and temperature in the pressurized fuel tank are measured by a combined pressure/temperature sensor. The sensor measures the temperatures in the range from -40°C to +85°C and the pressure in the range from -150 millibars to 400 millibars. The measured values are sent to the control unit of the hybrid pressure refuelling electronic control unit via the LIN bus. The hybrid pressure refuelling electronic control unit evaluates the signals of the pressure/temperature sensor and, if necessary, activates the fuel tank isolation valve.
