11 31 091 Removing and installing or replacing the hydraulic chain tensioner (M57T2-SCR)
Special tools required:
Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove GEAR CASE COVER
WARNING:
Chain tensioner pistons are under spring pressure.
Danger of injury during removal of alignment pins.
Danger of injury during removal of alignment pins.
Press tensioning rail (1) in direction of arrow.
Insert special tool 11 3 340 in the chain tensioner (3).
Unfasten screws (2).
Remove chain tensioner (3).
