Troubleshooting on the actuator

  1. Remove actuator and check whether pushrod moves freely (by pulling, pushing and shaking).
  2. Plug actuator into engine wiring loom again and operate it from the DME using the test module; pushrod should move out by approx. 5-6 mm.
  3. Swap over actuator between inlet and exhaust and check whether fault follows.
