51 16 045 Removing and installing or replacing retaining ring on left or right exterior mirror

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove HOUSING ON OUTSIDE MIRROR 

Release screws (1).

Feed out retaining ring (2).

Installation: 

Ensure correct cable routing.
