13 54 030 Removing and installing/sealing throttle body (N57 D30 O/T 1)

IMPORTANT: READ and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD protection)!

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Release screw (1).

Partially loosen acoustic cover on the front (2).

Unlock connector (1) and remove.

Release screws (2) on throttle valve assembly.

Tightening torque 13 54 1AZ .

Release clamp (3).

Remove throttle body from the pressure pipe and thread out to the side until the connector can be reached at the intake air temperature sensor.

Installation note: 

Replace gasket at mixing tube for intake air.

Unlock connector (1) and remove from intake air temperature sensor. Remove throttle valve assembly.

NOTE: On replacement of the throttle body, carry out modifications on the charge air pipe (2). Release clamps (1) and remove charge air pipe (2) from the throttle body (3).

Replace gasket.

Installation note: 

Check stored fault message.

Delete fault memory.
