Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Lift luggage compartment floor
IMPORTANT:
Before disconnecting the battery cable, it must be ensured that the vehicle goes to sleep. Observe a waiting period of at least 2 minutes.
Loosen nut (1).
Tightening torque 61 21 1AZ .
IMPORTANT:
Do not under any circumstances use force to pull off negative terminal.
Detach battery negative lead with IBS towards top, lay to one side and secure.
