12..... Removing and installing/replacing rear ignition coil cover (N55)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

- Remove engine cover.

- Remove MICROFILTER HOUSING lower section.

- Remove right TRAILING LINK .

Release clamps along line (1).

Release clamp (2).

IMPORTANT: Observe tightening torque without fail! If hose clamp is tightened with a higher tightening torque, there is a risk of damage to the fresh air hose!

Tightening torque 13 71 3AZ

Unlock connector (3) on hot film air mass meter and disconnect.

Release upper section of intake filter housing (4) at rear from clamps and remove in an upward direction.

Release clamp (1).

IMPORTANT: Observe tightening torque without fail! If hose clamp is tightened with a higher tightening torque, there is a risk of damage to the fresh air hose!

Tightening torque 13 71 3AZ

Detach hose (2) and remove.

Unlock and remove retainer (1).

Release wiring harnesses (2) from ignition coil cover (3) and lay to one side.

Detach ignition coil cover (3) in upward direction from rubber mounts, feed out and remove.

Assemble engine.
