11 28 010 Replacing drive belt for alternator (N55)

Special tools required:

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Drive belt route

NOTE: Mark the direction of travel of the drive belt if it is to be reused.

Turn belt tensioner (1) in direction of arrow until belt tensioner bore hole (2) is flush on crankcase.

Hold belt tensioner (1) under tension.

Secure special tool 11 0 390.

Remove drive belt (3).

Assemble engine.

Installation note:

Check drive belt for correct installation position and, if reusing, observe direction of travel. Risk of damage .
