13 71 150 Removing clean air pipe (N55)

Necessary preliminary work: 

Release clamps along line (1).

Release clamp (2).

IMPORTANT: Observe tightening torque without fail!
If hose clamp is tightened with a higher tightening torque, there is a risk of damage to the fresh air hose!

Tightening torque 13 71 3AZ .

Unlock connector (3) on hot film air mass meter and disconnect.

Release upper section of intake silencer housing (4) at rear from clamps and remove in an upward direction.

Release screw (2).

Tightening torque 13 71 5AZ .

Unlock plug (4) from heating element and disconnect.

Do not  detach vent hose at cylinder head cover.

Risk of damage to cylinder head cover!

Undo screws (3) at clean air pipe (1) and pull vent hose off from clean air pipe!

Release screw (5).

Tightening torque 13 71 7AZ .

Feed out clean air pipe (1) and remove.

Assemble engine.
